Responsibilities/Job description
Focus on learning and supporting various modules and understanding capacity planning, tool performance indicators, and other key factory metrics.  Participate in projects related to: tool install, schedule, reuse, and layout.  Responsible for strategic and tactical capacity and capital planning, functional area performance tracking and improvements, reuse tool projects, layout coordination, and management of capacity and capital systems. 
 
Qualifications
A minimum of a MS degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience or a BS degree in engineering with at least 5 years of experience.  Excellent communication skills and English. Candidate should also have some basic understanding of production processes and manufacturing systems.  Experience in project management is preferred.  Candidates should also have experience in applying problem solving techniques.

Company Dalian 300 mm wafer factory (F68) Labs are seeking applicants for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Specimen Prep Technician.  The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient, high quality production of TEM samples.  To accomplish this manual polishing, ion polishing, Focused Ion Beam (FIB) micro-machining and other techniques will be employed.  The candidate may be required to take a 3-6 months training/seed assignment at Company existing wafer manufacturing facilities in US or Ireland to learn new equipment/processes.

Company Dalian 300 mm wafer factory (F68) Labs are seeking applicants for Calibration Technician.  Candidate will be required to calibrate and repair measurement and test equipment, operate calibration-scheduling software, generate reports, interface with factory personnel on the impact of calibrations, and use personal computer hardware and software.  Candidate must become proficient with the operation of calibration standards including DMM calibrators, oscilloscope calibrators, temperature and humidity calibration chambers/dry block, power supply calibrators, gauge blocks, etc. Candidate will work from technical manuals, schematics, specifications, drawings and written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks. Candidate must be able to write calibration procedures from manufacturer’s specifications. Work focus is generally performed within the boundaries of established processes or systems defined in a self-sustaining group environment.  The candidate may be required to take a 3 months training/seed assignment at Company existing wafer manufacturing facilities in US to learn new equipment and calibration techniques.
 
Skills
Previous experience working in a calibration laboratory or electronics repair shop is a highly desirable qualification.  The ability to demonstrate in-depth understanding of complex electronics and mechanical theories is required.  The candidate must be a good team player and be able to establish collaborative relationships with peers and internal customers.

E-Test Engineer
 
Location : Dalian
 
 
Responsibility
 
1.       Support high volume manufacturing, sustaining production test floor, test time reduction, maintenance of test application files and equipment/module availability.
2.       Parametric tester, wafer prober and small hardware as it relates to process characterization / control and quality / integrity of data collected. 
3.       Integrate all segments of module operations including wafer in process (WIP) tracking through final product disposition.
4.       Interaction between automation peripherals and test control application in highly automated 300mm E-Test environment.
5.       Design and execute meaningful experiments to resolve module induced problems.
Collaborate effectively with multiple cross-functional engineers to perform equipment   install and qualification.
 
Qualification
1.       A Bachelor of Science degree or A Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years or more of parametric tester related experience or equivalent
2.       Design of Experiments (DOE), root cause analysis, risk assessment, problem solving skills and statistics. 
3.       Excellent data-based decision making skills 
4.       Strong leadership, project management, and automation skills. 
5.       Thorough knowledge of semiconductor device characterization, fab processing and the effect process biases have on parametric parameters with special emphasis on how tester / test file affects output data.

7.       In depth knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems, system administration, security management techniques and multiple scripting languages.

Test Engineer
 
 
Location : Dalian
 
Responsibility
 
1.       Be the primary owner for equipment availability, and process performance across multiple modules.
2.       Support new product introductions, troubleshooting integrated processing issues, and working closely with Operations to provide leadership/technical supervision to Manufacturing Technicians.
3.       Characterize the probing process limits and the effects of incoming material variability
4.       Design and execute meaningful experiments to resolve module induced problems. 
Collaborate effectively with multiple cross-functional engineers to perform equipment   install and qualification
 
Qualification

Product Engineer
 
Location : Dalian
 
Responsibility
 
1.       A liaison between Fab and Product Division/Sort/Assembly/Test on behave of Fab’s interest
2.       Execute Fab New Product Introduction (NPI) with the following responsibilities: approve product reticle tooling list, prepare NPI checklist and reticle association list, monitor product lead lots to meet schedule, manage/support engineering process flow, etc.
3.       Collaborate with Fab Integration and Yield Eng to validate/improve product performance target
4.       Develop/validate/correlate/release Sort test program on Advantest T2000 tester platform (i.e. CMT)
5.       Execute Sort New Product Introduction with the following responsibilities: validate test fixture (i.e. Sort Interface Unit), confirm tester HW/SW configuration and prober recipe, set up test processes and disposition rules, complete test program audit check, etc.
6.       Optimize manufacturing cost by creating cost effective test methods
7.       Design and execute experiments to resolve product low yield problems
8.  Interface with Product Division, Q&R, Yield Analysis, Assembly/Test to support product launch, test time reduction, product quality improvement, etc
 
Qualification

Job description
In this position, you will be reporting to Process Engineering Manager and working closely with process engineering,  yield/integration, and manufacturing teams to start up and ramp the 1st Company 300 mm Fab in Asia and will be located in Dalian. Applying to this posting will allow you to be considered for all process engineer positions available at this time. It may require training assignment in the US for up to one year before locating to Dalian, China. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
§          Transferring process technology into F68, the 1st Company 300 mm Fab in Asia.

- Participating in technology start-up, transfer, and ramp activities to meet yield, reliability, cost, and device performance goals;
- Driving and prioritizing integrated experiments to troubleshoot and optimize process flows;
- Owning particular sections of process flow, and responsible for its optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement goals;
- Maintaining and driving process qualification matrix and deliverables;
- Rapid response to process excursions and drive to quick integrated solutions;
- Working with Process Engineering to improve process stability and capability as well as reduce defects;

This position is for Defect Reduction engineer in Company Dalian 300mm Fab 68. Successful candidate will be participating and driving activities pertaining to defect metrology (tools, processes, and systems) and defect reduction activities contributing to yield sustaining and enhancements.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 
- Participating in technology start-up & ramp activities to meet yield, reliability, cost, device performance goals;
- Driving and prioritizing integrated experiments to troubleshoot and reduce defects
- Owning one or more integrated defect monitors and driving them to best in class performance
- Rapid response to process excursions and help drive to quick integrated solutions;

Fab 68 Yield Analysis group is looking for highly motivated individuals with strong technical background and capabilities to join a 300mm logic chipset factory in Dalian, China.  In this position as Yield Analysis Engineer, your responsibilities include:
- Working with Integration and Process Engineering to improve process stability and capability as well as reduce defects;
- Monitoring Fab 68 yield performance and helping prioritize yield projects within the factory
- Monitoring Company factory network yield comparison and driving yield matching and commonality analysis
- Supporting excursion task force monitoring critical yield issues and baseline improvement
- Performing yield prediction, and recommending yield improvement roadmaps and priorities to Process Engineering and Integration
- Owning deployment of yield analysis tools and methodology, and proliferation of analytical skills within the factory
