The mission of the Corporate Technology group is to drive Company's technology leadership. This includes coordinating research and development among several business groups and aligning Company's strategies and technologies with industry needs. The goal is to accelerate the convergence of computing and communications.

 

In this position, you will be working under the guidance of supervisor in an assigned project.

 

You should possess a Ph.D. (post graduate) degree in a Computer architecture-related technical discipline. Additional qualifications include:
- More than two years of experience in academia or industrial research labs
- Strong experience on networking protocol, protocol SW stack and NIC architecture
- Research skill to survey a new field, identify emerging trend, define a research agenda and execute against it
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment and self-motivation
- Linguistic fluency in English and Chinese
- Experience with architecture, micro architecture research, simulation and model development
- Experience in defining and executing an independent research project would be an added advantage
