What is this position's scope of responsibility and anticipated duties?

 

The candidate will become a member of the China standard team.

 

The individual will be a technologist specialising in computing chipset, Energy Efficiency, blade server technology and so on. He/She will provide overall Company technology leadership skill sets for all above mentioned technology issues in China. The primary focus for these efforts will be in the regulatory and standards domain.

 

Specific roles will include:

 

 

Candidate must have excellent technical skills and strong knowledge of computing hardware technologies and markets.  He/She must have an existing technical credibility in this environment.

 

The applicant is expected to have excellent strategic and influencing skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of organisations both inside and outside of company. He/She must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at various levels of abstraction for internal and external audiences including all levels of management, press, analysts, industry peers. 

 

He/she must be highly self-directed and self-motivated and able to lead and work at team level on items such as strategy development, planning and execution.

 

Candidate should have an electrical/electronic engineering Masters degree or above with 6+ years relevant experience.

 

Candidate must be fluent in English and Mandarin on Listening, speaking, reading and writing.
