Description
In this position, you will be responsible for demonstrating the use of engineering principles, theories and concepts in a specific discipline, while having an understanding of other related disciplines. You will be using functional knowledge in applying value engineering techniques. You will be in charge of facility electrical system as a technical resource and expert to provide expertise in order to ensure reliable (24 hours X 7 days week) and cost effective electrical system to support manufacturing, also contribute CS facility organization to achieve the highest level of its business goal. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Electrical system (HV/LV) capacity management, such as establishing and maintaining capacity management methodology, analyzing and updating sustaining system, forecast against business needs
- Responsible for the electrical system reliability improvement and execute to internal and industry standard
- Responsible for electrical system preventive maintenance process and procedures, lead system troubleshooting and post mortem analysis
- Providing necessity training to technicians and outsourcing contractors
- Reviewing and updating system as-build drawings and panel schedule for system
- Providing technical support to TI and base-build project as required in Company CMP process
Project Leadership
- Being designated as project leader to provide solutions to projects limited in scope requiring practical application of engineering concepts. In project team environment, demonstrates the understanding and ability to work within an engineering team concept
Problem Identification and/or Solution:
- Identifying solutions to routine design and/or operational problems by applying basic engineering techniques
Supervision Required Skills:
- Working with others in developing solutions; requires moderate direction and/or supervision, periodically assists in providing training and direction to engineers with less experience
Decision Making Capability and/or Impact:
- Understanding the impact of those decisions on the project safety, schedule, budget and overall effectiveness
Analytical:
- Working under the direction of a more senior engineer learning how to perform diagnostic and/or troubleshooting techniques to solve more complex operational and/or system problems or develop alternative solutions in a timely manner
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher with at least eight years of experience in Electrical Engineering design and project management on facility electrical or automation. Additional qualifications include:
- Capable of recognizing problems and making sound technical decisions in the field on basic, routine engineering projects.
