The position is for an Engineering Manager with the Enterprise Platforms and Server Division (EPSD) based at the Company ZhiZhu site. In this position, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers focused on technical ownership and responsibility of server motherboards, chassis, and systems in a production environment. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Managing a team of six to eight Individual Contributor engineers of varying roles and responsibilities
- Driving critical issues and interface with senior management, providing daily management and/or executive updates, lead brainstorming sessions, review and providing input into customer communications
- Maintaining the health and morale of a team responsible for insuring Customers and Factories are at full production, responding to technical issue, interfacing with major Customers, resolving customer and factory excursions
- Driving excursions, driving cross-functional cross-company teams, and closing issues
- Responsible for all component excursions, qualifying second and/or alternate sources, driving cost reductions and any required engineering change order. This team is the primary interface to the factories and customers for all technical issues and/or excursions on EPSD products

 

 

You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with five to seven years experience in the high tech field. Additional qualifications include:
- Proven leadership skills in a team environment and ability to provide direction in an ambiguous environment
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred) both written and verbal
- Demonstrated disciplined approach to problem solving and ability to make business decisions in a technical environment
- Prior management experience would be an added advantage as is Program Management
- A strong technical background would be an added advantage with excellent communication skills, and must be a self starter
