Description

 

The Mobile Platform Solutions Division is looking for a senior manager to manage the MPSD Shanghai site. The MPSD Shanghai site is chartered to be an excellence center for mobile system development and is focused on the growth vector of MPG imperatives. In this position, you will be responsible for managing a group of industrial designers, mechanical and/or thermal, electrical and software engineers to develop exciting notebook reference systems in the mainstream and the basic notebook categories. The team works with local ODMs, local OEMs and Tier 1/2 OEMs to ensure the reference systems are enabled as products. Position requires relocation to Shanghai, building close relationships with CPG and other MPG groups to deliver the reference systems that are innovative and embodies the recent platform initiatives.

 

 

Qualifications

You should possess a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent with more than five years of management experience. Additional qualifications include:

- A good understanding PC system design and ecosystem

- Proven ability to lead an organization to deliver system level platforms, interact with customers and direct an engineering team to plan, commit and deliver system level PC reference platforms

- Experience in mobile platforms would be an added advantage

- Ability to speak Mandarin would be an added advantage

- Experience in managing offsite teams would be an added advantage
