Solution Architect OSS,BSS

Responsibilities
•Be accountable for product software design throughout the complete life-cycle.
•Work in Scrum team to focus on quick study, solution/architecture design based on assigned requirement items in product backlog.
•Hold the technical lead in the Scrum team during software development.
•Lead and participate in software implementations, ensuring code quality.
•Ensure the software implementations are based on a sustainable technical solution and consistent with the product technology roadmaps and strategies.
•Be responsible for evolution of assigned components and compose recommendations towards System Architect Team on changes on component-level architecture, internal/external APIs and usage of 3PPs.
•Review major technical design decisions.
•Create and maintain technical documents when needed, e.g. component-level Implementation Proposal, component-level architecture design proposal, etc.
•Participate pre-sale activity and provide cost estimation

Authorities
•Make decisions on detailed architecture design.
•Jointly to decide on usage of 3PPs

Profile/Competence
•At least 2 years’ experiences in the role of Solution Architect
•Solid working experience of software development during full life-cycle of a product.
•Be able to independently architect products/solutions.
•Good knowledge of telecom networks is a plus.
•Strong technical background on Java SW development. Be familiar with common SW technologies including OS, AS, DB, SOA Framework, etc.
•Good business understanding.
•Good communication skills.
•Good leadership skills.
•Good coaching and mentoring skills.
•Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Hiring requirements:
·2 years’ SA experience and at least 5 years’ Java backend development experience (solid foundation in java development, since we are expecting this role to be a technical leader).
·Telecommunication background.
·Could conduct fluent English and should be a good communicator, because this role will communicate with oversea R&D team and operators.
·Bachelor degree and above

·Techinical interview by other site’s SA, it could be tele-interview.
·Sarah will inteview as line manager.
·Potential interview by Sarah’s manager.
