We are now looking for a Developer to maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

 

Your main task will be to drive SW system studies in resource handling in radio base stations for all standards, (e.g. 4G,3G,2G), and combination of the standards as in multistandard radio base stations. The resource handling secure that we have a good way of setting up the node resources from radio to backend (to start of transport) in the radio base station. You will work with cell/sector setup and RBS equipment handling. The area is wide so you will also be working with O&M, radio close features. Example of features and areas are IoT, Advanced Antenna Systems, Massive MIMO, beamforming.You will drive system studies in all product phases from early phases to maintenance.

As a system engineer you will work with establish and execute complex system studies. You drive technical issues, innovate solutions and decisions to meet technical requirement and conclusion in a timely manner.

It will be your responsibility to identify the technical requirements based on business, customer needs and other opportunities.

As a system engineer you always bring in the costumer perspective in our design solutions. You will work close with strategic product owner, SW and HW design and verification as well as other system persons.

 

To be successful the system designer must have good knowledge of system both SW and HW, product knowledge, working cross site and be a natural leader. You also enjoy to work on a lean and agile WoW.

 

You also should have:

Master of science degree or bachelor degree in science/engineering plus intensive radio product experience

5-7 years of work experience

Good communication skills, e.g. spoken English

The ability to work independently and in teams

Good 3GPP knowledge, and expertise in LTE (or other RAN) system and architecture design

Some competence in feature/project driving,  presentation & visualize your design

Quality and efficiency in mind & analytical thinking

Open minded and willing to take new challenges, and enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills
